Disclaimer

Everything on this site is one person’s experience and observation. It is not professional advice of any kind.

About the information here

I write about what I see around me in Korea — prices, procedures, how things work day to day. I try to be accurate, and when I’m not sure about something I say so in the post rather than guessing. But I’m not a researcher and I’m not checking official sources for every number.

Prices and rules change. A cost I mention today may be wrong in six months. Regulations, opening hours, and how a service works can all change without me noticing. If something matters to your money, your health, or your legal status, check it with an official source before you rely on it.

Not professional advice

Nothing here is medical, legal, financial, immigration, or tax advice. I work in manufacturing. If you need a professional, please talk to one.

My perspective is limited

I live in one city, work one kind of job, and am one age. Korea is not uniform. Something that is completely normal where I live may be unusual in Seoul, or in Busan, or for someone twenty years younger than me. Read this as one view, not the view.
